Labour ComplianceThe Government of Uttar Pradesh on July 01, 2026, prohibits strikes in co-operative and warehousing services for six months.

The Government has prohibited strikes for a period of six months in all services under the Uttar Pradesh State Warehousing Corporation, all Apex Co-operative Societies, Co-operative Federations and Co-operative Unions operating in the State.

The prohibition has been issued under Section 3(1) of the Uttar Pradesh Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1966 (U.P. Act No. 30 of 1966) and will take effect from the date of publication of the notification in the Official Gazette.
